Dueling Axes at AREA15 to Celebrate Earth Day by Donating to One Tree Planted

The modern axe-throwing lounge located inside AREA15 will be donating $1 to the green, tree-planting organization for every axe thrower who registers on Earth Day, by donating to the green, tree-planting organization.

Ahead of Earth Day, Dueling Axes, the modern axe-throwing bar and lounge destination at AREA15, today announced that for every registered axe-thrower in our venues on April 22, 2022, the company will donate $1 per thrower to the nonprofit organization One Tree Planted. As part of the company’s ongoing efforts to give back, the decision to give to a reforestation effort that benefits everyone was an easy one.

“We believe in building community and being stewards of the environment in which we live. We wanted to do something special to celebrate this Earth Day,” says Dueling Axes co-founder Jess Hellmich. “Sending donations to One Tree Planted and having all of our customers be a part of this effort is the perfect way to do that.”

Dueling Axes will be celebrating Earth Day by making a donation to One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization that aims to tackle global deforestation by planting one tree with every dollar donated. Customers can get involved by going through the normal reservation process on the Dueling Axes website. Or they can call 702.333.4513, or walk in to any of our venues and make a reservation with one of our service representatives. There are no group minimums and all axe-throwing reservations are private. No other action is needed.

All axe throwers participating at a Dueling Axes facility on this day will automatically be counted towards the donation effort. “It was important to us to involve as much of our community as we could while also making it easy to participate,” continued Hellmich. “At the end of the day, all we do at Dueling Axes is having fun, and we invite everyone to come have fun with us while we also try to do a little good.”

In the past, Dueling Axes has supported national and local causes related to ending breast cancer and children’s leukemia through axe throwing and specialty drink sales. The company will continue to be involved in their community, participate in giving back and look to formalize their relationships with nonprofit organizations that align with its values of safety, fun and community.
