The city’s best (least)-kept secret comedy experience will pop-up every month in The Yard at Fergusons Downtown
Fergusons Downtown, the Far East Fremont community hotspot, is thrilled to announce the long-term residency of Don’t Tell Comedy. Taking the stage in The Yard at Fergusons once a month, starting Thursday, March 10, the pop-up comedy experience will bring audiences a night of discovery and laughs.
“Fergusons Downtown has loved hosting Don’t Tell Comedy pop-ups throughout the past three years, and we’re thrilled to make this a long-term monthly residency,” said Jen Taler, Fergusons Downtown Co-Founder and Creative Strategist, “Since day one, Fergusons’ mission has been to support and celebrate our creative community, and comedians certainly fall within that. Having Don’t Tell Comedy pop-up at Fergusons Downtown is a natural fit; plus, it’s just plain fun – something we could all use right now.”
Bringing live comedy experiences to more than 35 cities across the nation, Don’t Tell Comedy showcases the best of the next generation of standup comedians through pop-up shows in unique locations. And while typically the lack of details is often part of the charm (with some shows providing only the date, time and city until just hours before the show), the Fergusons Downtown residency will still offer the element of surprise and mystery through the lineup – not knowing who is performing until they are live on stage in front of the audience.
“We decided to partner with Fergusons Downtown in a way that felt more connected than ever before to fulfill the Don’t Tell Comedy mission in Las Vegas,” said Nick Arellano, Don’t Tell Comedy Las Vegas Lead Producer. “As our city opened up again with live events, it felt natural to collaborate with Downtown’s most immersive city block. You and a friend walk into the beautiful Yard, walk over to the Fergie bar, and take your seats for the secret comedy show that’s about to happen on the stage. The residency brings comedy to the community and fits in with all that Fergusons stands for in fostering community. It has been a pleasure to produce this show with our friends at Fergusons.”
